A graphic frame for a church. This should make it into a film.
Every town has a tragedy and Touwsrivier is no different. When Transnet left the small railway town so did many of its inhabitants. The high school shut down and most of the buildings are derelict. This is one of a few churches that still operate. I can only imagine that Sunday service is not as exciting as it may have been in the past.
It feels like Cecil John Rhodes is going to come out of this building at any second.
The apartment block on the hill.
The joys of finding your own little nest. Where you find solace and a sense of safety. It might not always be the grandest or biggest place, but it puts a smile on your face and makes you happy, very happy indeed.
Square peg through a round hole. Different shapes of windows in the same delapidated building.
Accomodation in Durban for the last week of shoot. Not the prettiest building and definitely not the quietest neighborhood. But the view on to the sea and the great service made it worth the while.

Early morning airport shooting. When the sun comes up, the camera has to cut. Minutes away.
